Hang Swami Nityananda???

Someone wrote swami Nityananda should be hanged. here is my response to that person.

For what? he was doing some sane thing (delivering sermons) and U guys have spoiled it? Why one has to weigh him on what he is doing in his bedroom. Is it bad to be a hedonist?
Lets think one step ahead. Isn't pleasure the sole motive of our life? pleasure, peace and mental serenity is what we all need. Is it bad to seek pleasure (if at all one is not a sadist). I guess society in 10th century was more liberal than what it is now. Wake up guys, this is what freedom is. How his's act affected anyone? Did he rob U? or did he cheat U? or did he murder someone? If U think he is bad then U also know that he is better than many influential person U know today. There are lot many better issues in this world to anguish upon.

  1. If saffron clad preachers of religion start indulging in such heinous acts then where is "Hinduism" headed towards???

  2. He did cheated the religious followers who showed faith in him. Being a hedonist isn't his crime but pretending not being one and deluding the credulous devouts for his own gain is a crime. Maybe it would be difficult (impossible) to criminate him in any court of justice, but that's another issue.

Why don't we treat each individual issue objectively with appropriate weightage. If a man murders a thousand people and get away with it, that doesn't warrant that each murderer with one or two murders should be left free.

  3. Thanks for your comments, :),
@Surya- If one is saffron clad that does not mean that he/she can not have sex. Take a walk through Ramayana or Mahabharata, you would come with many instances where rishis and maharishis got plenty of sex. :)

@Infinity- I agree a man worth of his salt doesn't have to hide such things. Do it with wide chest open. The problem with today's gurus is that they make themselves look celibate.
